  • You otherwise have the legal right to upload and process the file.

You agree to assume all legal and financial liability for any file you upload. Oracle DM accepts no responsibility for copyright infringement caused by user-uploaded content.

If you are a copyright owner and believe that content hosted on Oracle DM infringes your rights, you may submit a takedown notice to:

  • May be used freely within your private tabletop sessions;

Child Safety & Community Protection Policy

Last Updated: May 2026

Oracle DM is committed to maintaining a secure, safe, and positive environment for tabletop roleplaying gamers worldwide. Because our platform leverages real-time multi-user communication, interactive chat rooms, and user-generated text, we enforce strict compliance frameworks to protect minors.

1. COPPA Compliance & Age Restrictions (Under 13)

In strict compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Oracle DM does not knowingly collect, maintain, or solicit personal information from individuals under the age of 13.

  • Absolute Prohibition: Individuals under the age of 13 are strictly prohibited from creating accounts, hosting sessions, or entering live room codes on Oracle DM.
  • Parental Verification: If a parent or guardian discovers that a child under 13 has submitted personal information, notify our safety team immediately at safety@oracledm.com. We will immediately terminate the account and purge all associated data.

2. Teen Safety Guardrails (Ages 13–17)

Users between the ages of 13 and 17 are permitted to use the platform under the following conditions:

  • Consent: By creating an account, the user affirms they have obtained explicit parental or guardian permission to participate in online tabletop sessions.
  • Account Privacy: Accounts identified as minors are restricted from publicly indexing real-world contact information within our LFG or Tavern forum systems.

3. Anti-Predator & Zero-Tolerance Harassment Protocols

Oracle DM maintains an absolute Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding online grooming, stalking, sexual harassment, or exploitative behavior targeted at any user, with a heightened focus on minors.

  • Immediate Termination: Any account found to be soliciting personal contact information from minors, or utilizing inappropriate content within campaign notes or forums, will face an immediate, non-appealable lifetime account ban.
  • Law Enforcement Cooperation: In cases involving suspected child exploitation or predatory behavior, Oracle DM will preserve database logs, chat context, and IP data, and will actively report activity to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.

4. Automated Content Filters & Language Guardrails

  • The Oracle Filter: Our systems utilize automated safety filters to flag or redact explicit language, hate speech, and graphic sexual text from live player controllers and public boards.
  • DM Discretion Layer: Dungeon Masters retain narrative creative freedom within private campaign spaces, but are strictly bound by our Terms of Service to never introduce themes involving child exploitation, non-consensual graphic violence, or targeted real-world abuse.

5. Reporting Mechanisms

If you witness or experience inappropriate language, suspicious inquiries, or predatory behavior anywhere on Oracle DM:

  1. Locate the Feedback & Safety Widget in your dashboard sidebar.
  2. Select the "Report Abuse / Safety Violation" category.
  3. Submit the user handle, room code, and a brief description. Our moderation team reviews all safety escalations within a 24-hour cycle.

For urgent safety concerns, contact us directly at safety@oracledm.com.

Billing & Overage Policy

Paid subscription plans (Journeyman and Master) include a fixed monthly AI token allocation. If you exceed your monthly token limit, additional usage is automatically billed at a pay-as-you-go rate of $2.00 per 100 tokens.

You will not be notified before overage charges are incurred. It is your responsibility to monitor your token usage via the Billing dashboard. You may purchase additional token packs in advance to avoid unexpected charges.

The Apprentice (free) tier does not incur overage charges — AI features are simply paused when the monthly allocation is exhausted.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your Oracle DM subscription at any time. To cancel, navigate to Billing & Subscription in your account and click Cancel Subscription. This submits a cancellation request that our team will process within 1 business day. You may also email billing@oracledm.com to cancel. No phone call is required.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to your paid plan features through that date. No partial-month refunds are issued unless required by applicable law.

Refund Policy

Subscriptions: We do not offer refunds on monthly subscription payments already processed. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 7 days at billing@oracledm.com.

One-time purchases (One-Shot Pass, token packs): These are non-refundable once the tokens have been consumed. Unused tokens from a one-time purchase may be refunded within 7 days of purchase if requested and no tokens have been used.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

Data, Privacy & Deletion Rights

Oracle DM collects your email address and name for account creation, and stores your campaign data, characters, session logs, and forum posts to provide the service.

Right to Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the Billing & Subscription page or by emailing privacy@oracledm.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days as required by applicable law (GDPR Art. 17, CCPA).

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy or contact privacy@oracledm.com.
